- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Bake crust for 15 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the cooled crust.
- Top with fresh blueberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes until the edges are golden and the filling is set.
- Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use fresh blueberries for best flavor. Frozen can be used but thaw and drain excess moisture.
- Chill the bars thoroughly for clean cuts.
