Ingredients
Scale
- 1 baguette or rustic Italian bread, sliced
- 200g fresh burrata cheese
- 2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic glaze (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and crispy. For extra flavor, grill the bread if desired.
- In a bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, a splash of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss gently and let sit for 10 minutes to meld flavors.
- Drizzle toasted bread slices with olive oil. Layer with basil leaves and spoon the tomato mixture generously over each slice. Place a dollop of burrata cheese on top of each bruschetta.
- Garnish with additional basil leaves and, if desired, a drizzle of balsamic glaze for added sweetness and presentation.
Notes
- Use ripe, firm tomatoes for the best flavor.
- Adjust garlic and basil quantities to your taste preferences.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the crispy bread with creamy burrata at its best.
