- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup small broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine steamed broccoli and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface. Spread the broccoli and cheese mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Carefully roll the pastry tightly from one edge to the other to form a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

- You can add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
