- 1 sheet of puff pastry or pizza dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 slices of ham, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
- Spread shredded chicken evenly over the dough, then layer with chopped ham and cheese.
- Roll the dough into a tight log, sealing the edges.
- Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and garnish with parsley. Serve with marinara sauce if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Use crescent roll dough for a quicker version.
