Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture to form dough.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the filling.
- Divide dough in half. Roll each into a rectangle on a floured surface, spread with cinnamon filling.
- Roll up tightly, starting from the long side, and cut into 12 slices each.
- Place slices on prepared baking sheets, bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm cookies and let cool slightly before serving.
