- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken to skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk.
- Replace chicken with shrimp for seafood variation.
