- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onions, green peppers, and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned; season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.
- In a baking dish, combine cooked beef mixture, rice, beef broth, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Mix well, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove foil, sprinkle remaining cheese over the top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until melted and bubbly.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
- Add chopped tomatoes or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Serve with a side of fresh salad or steamed vegetables.
