Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 4-6 soft hamburger buns
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then bake or simmer until fully cooked. Cool and shred the chicken using forks or a stand mixer.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Simmer gently, then stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add shredded chicken to the skillet with sauce. Mix well and let simmer for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
- Spoon the creamy chicken Alfredo mixture onto warm hamburger buns. Garnish with additional Parmesan or herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for a richer flavor.
- Adjust cream and cheese for your preferred sauce consistency.
- Enhance flavor with sautéed mushrooms or spinach in the sauce.
- Toast buns lightly for added crunch.
