- 8 oz egg noodles or your preferred pasta
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked noodles and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
