- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer, then add Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked chicken back to the skillet, coat with sauce. Toss with cooked pasta.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.

- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with milk and a bit of cream cheese.
