- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and melted butter. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover dough and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
- Mix minced garlic with a little melted butter. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over each roll, then add chopped parsley.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a crispier crust, brush the tops with additional melted butter before baking.
- Feel free to add cooked bacon bits or herbs for extra flavor.
