- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook until shrimp turn pink, about 4-5 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until sauce slightly thickens, about 3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a splash of white wine during cooking. Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
