A rich and creamy garlic shrimp pasta that’s quick to prepare and perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion, loaded with flavor and elegance.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz. spaghetti or your favorite pasta
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 lemon, sliced (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Reduce heat to low, pour in heavy cream, and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce, toss to coat evenly. Adjust seasoning as needed.

Notes

  • Feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Serve immediately with fresh parsley and lemon slices for added flavor.
