Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are tender.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard; simmer until sauce thickens.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until evenly combined and heated through.
- Serve the stroganoff over cooked noodles or rice, garnished with parsley if desired.
