  • 1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté sliced Italian sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add chopped onion and garlic; cook until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in gnocchi and cooked sausage. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until gnocchi are tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, until heated through and slightly thickened.
