- 2 large chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened.
- Stir in grated parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well to combine. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
