- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 10 minutes, until cooked through and sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with rice or fresh bread.
Notes
- Adjust garlic and herbs to suit your taste.
- For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes.
- Can be made ahead and reheated gently.
