- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, add paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Return chicken to the skillet, simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels by adding more chili powder for extra heat.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or with crusty bread.
