Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in sugar until combined. Remove from heat.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, folding in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
- For the mousse, heat heavy cream until simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate and butter. Let sit, then stir until smooth.
- Spread the mousse over the cooled brownies, refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
- Finish with a chocolate ganache and garnishes like chocolate shavings and berries before serving.
