- 2 large apples, peeled and diced

- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 package pre-made pie crusts
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Roll out pie crusts and cut into small circles using a cookie cutter.
- Spoon apple filling onto half of each crust circle, fold over, and seal edges.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use a mixture of tart and sweet apples for best flavor.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
