  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and draw a 9-inch circle as a guide.
  2. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff and glossy.
  3. Gently fold in vinegar and cornstarch.
  4. Spoon meringue onto prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a disk within the circle. Smooth the top and sides.
  5. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, then turn off oven and let the meringue cool completely inside to prevent cracking.
  6. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  7. Just before serving, top the meringue with whipped cream and arrange fresh fruits on top.
