- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Sprinkle cranberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log and cut into 1-inch slices.
- Place slices on prepared baking sheet, brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use fresh cranberries for best flavor. Can substitute with dried cranberries soaked in juice.
- Serve warm or chilled with optional icing.
