  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter, egg, and the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix until a soft dough forms, then knead for about 8 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Gently punch down the dough and divide into 8 equal portions. Shape each into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet.
