- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss diced potatoes with 1 tablespoon olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden.
- In a large skillet, heat remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Add grounds meat, cook until browned. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer roasted potatoes to the skillet, mix gently.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the skillet. Cover and cook until cheese melts and bubbles, about 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot directly from the skillet.

- You can substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
