Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: chopped nuts or chocolate chips for added texture
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, honey, and melted butter. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture.
- Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture and flavor.
- Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 2 days, refrigerate for up to 1 week, or freeze slices for up to 3 months.
