Discover the quick and flavorful Hot Honey Feta Chicken recipe that combines sweet, spicy, and savory elements in just 30 minutes. Perfect for weeknights or impressing guests, this dish features tender chicken breasts topped with a honey and hot sauce glaze, crumbled feta, and fresh parsley. Easy to prepare, bursting with bold flavors, and versatile enough to pair with your favorite sides.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup of honey
  • 1 cup of crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of hot sauce or sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, ensuring an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add honey and hot sauce, stirring well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon the honey sauce over, and sprinkle with crumbled feta. Cook for another 2 minutes allowing feta to soften. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for a juicier result.
  • Adjust hot sauce quantity for desired spice level.
  • Best served immediately but refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
