- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce slightly thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and cook for another 2 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
