  • Total Time: 35-40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 rolls

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup canned peaches in syrup, drained and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Optional: glaze or cream cheese frosting for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast. Warm the milk to about 110°F and add it along with melted butter and egg. Mix until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 10 minutes.
  2. While the dough is rising, mix chopped peaches with cinnamon and brown sugar to prepare the filling.
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and roll into a 12×8 inch rectangle. Spread peach filling evenly over the surface. Roll tightly from the longer side and cut into 8 equal slices.
  4. Arrange the slices in a greased baking dish. Preheat the oven to 375°F and let the rolls rest for a few minutes.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Optional: drizzle with cream cheese frosting or glaze before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the milk is warm enough to activate yeast but not so hot that it kills the yeast.
  • Use ripe, sweet peaches for best flavor; drain excess syrup if using canned.
  • Cover loosely if the rolls brown too quickly during baking.
  • Adjust cinnamon to taste for a milder or more spiced flavor.
