- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups orzo pasta
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook orzo in boiling salted water until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in tomato sauce and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Add cooked orzo to the skillet, stirring to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
Notes
- You can add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Use grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
