Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 3 large russet potatoes, chopped into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing or ranch mix
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare all ingredients by slicing the smoked sausage and chopping the potatoes into even-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the potato cubes and smoked sausage slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until potatoes are golden and crispy, and sausage is cooked through.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cooked potatoes and sausage. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until cheese melts.
- Out of the oven, drizzle with ranch dressing or sprinkle ranch mix for extra flavor. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve hot directly from the sheet pan for a hearty, fuss-free dinner that everyone will enjoy.
Notes
- Ensure potatoes are chopped into similar sizes for even roasting.
- You can substitute different types of sausage like kielbasa or Italian sausage for variation.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes to keep potatoes crispy.
- Add extra vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini for more nutrition.
