Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Add onions and bell peppers; stir-fry until slightly tender but crisp.
  6. Return beef to the pan, season with black pepper and chili flakes, and toss to combine thoroughly.
  7. Cook for another 2 minutes to blend flavors. Serve hot.
