- 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add onions and bell peppers; stir-fry until slightly tender but crisp.
- Return beef to the pan, season with black pepper and chili flakes, and toss to combine thoroughly.
- Cook for another 2 minutes to blend flavors. Serve hot.
Notes
- For more heat, add extra chili flakes or fresh sliced chilies.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
