Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and garam masala. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on each side, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add 4 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Cover and simmer for an additional 5 minutes to ensure the chicken is heated through and flavors meld together. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- This dish can be made ahead and reheated gently to preserve the sauce’s richness.
- Adjust spice levels according to your preference by increasing or decreasing the garlic and spices.
