Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of beef sirloin or chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of honey or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Season the beef pieces with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Place into the slow cooker and add minced garlic.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in soy sauce and honey until combined. Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until beef is tender and flavorful.
- Once cooked, serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions. Pair with rice, vegetables, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
Notes
- Allow the beef bites to cool before storing in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
- Reheat gently in the microwave or skillet to preserve texture and flavor.
- Adjust seasonings to taste or add chili flakes for a spicy variation.
