Slow Cooker Cheesy Ravioli Lasagna is the ultimate comfort food that combines tender ravioli, rich cheese, and savory marinara sauce, all cooked effortlessly in your slow cooker. Perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends, this hearty Italian-inspired dish delivers gooey cheese and flavorful layers in a convenient, stress-free way.

  • Total Time: 3 hours 15 minutes to 4 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef or Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant, then stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  2. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick spray. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom. Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  3. Repeat the layers—meat sauce, ravioli, cheese—until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the ravioli are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  5. Sprinkle with freshly chopped basil or parsley. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • Use frozen ravioli for the best texture; fresh ravioli may require shorter cooking time.
  • Vegetarian option: substitute the meat with sautĂ©ed vegetables like zucchini, mushrooms, or eggplant.
  • To make ahead, assemble the layers and store in the refrigerator, then cook in the slow cooker when ready.
