- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and melted butter; stir until a soft dough forms.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the prepared pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, repeat layers.
- Pour melted butter over the top of the layered dough.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
- Optional: drizzle with caramel or glaze before serving.
Notes
- Ensure to coat each dough piece with cinnamon sugar for even flavor.
- Do not overbake to keep bread soft and gooey.
