- 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the sliced carrots into the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the carrots and add the butter on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until carrots are tender and glazed.
- Stir well before serving for an even coating of glaze.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- For added flavor, sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs before serving.
