- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 cup canned pineapple chunks
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey, ketchup, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour sauce over chicken and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Shred chicken with two forks and add pineapple chunks.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for even more flavor.
- Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
