- Juice of 2 lemons

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Chop strawberries and zest and juice lemons.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold chopped strawberries into the batter. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
- Cut into squares, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve. For an extra touch, garnish with additional strawberries or lemon zest.
