Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs (900 g) of beef chuck or sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the beef pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary. Toss to evenly coat.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef bites for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Combine melted butter and minced garlic in a small bowl, stirring well.
- Place seared beef into the slow cooker. Pour garlic butter mixture over the beef, ensuring even coating.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender and juicy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
Notes
- Optional: Add chopped onions or bell peppers during the last hour for extra flavor.
- For a thicker sauce, remove beef once cooked and simmer sauce until it reduces, then pour back over the beef.
- Use high-quality beef cuts like chuck or sirloin for best results.
