Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and chop the garlic and ginger. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Mix well to coat the beef evenly.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, cover, and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Once the broccoli is cooked, adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles. Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for added flavor.
Notes
- Use fresh broccoli for the best texture.
- Customize with additional vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
- For a gluten-free version, substitute soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos.
