Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 cups baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing or ranch seasoning mix
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss halved potatoes with 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- Slice smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Remove potatoes from oven, add sliced sausage to the sheet. Drizzle ranch dressing over the mixture and toss gently to coat.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese evenly on top.
- Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes, watching carefully.
Notes
- To make this dish ahead, assemble and refrigerate before baking. Bake for 30-35 minutes when ready.
- Feel free to substitute smoked sausage with turkey or chicken sausage for a leaner option.
- Use freshly chopped parsley for garnish to enhance flavor and presentation.
