- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
- Optional toppings: additional marshmallows, chocolate chunks, or crushed graham crackers
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a lined 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 8 minutes.
- Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips evenly over the crust. In a small saucepan, heat sweetened condensed milk until smooth; pour over the layered ingredients.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until marshmallows are golden and bubbling. Optional: broil for 1-2 minutes for toasted marshmallows.
- Allow to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- For extra gooeyness, add more marshmallows or chocolate on top before baking.
- Reheat individual squares in the microwave for a gooey experience.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerated up to 1 week.
- Use gluten-free graham cracker crumbs to make the recipe suitable for gluten-free diets.
