- 1 package of puff pastry sheets
- 1 package of quality sausages or hot dogs
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thaw the puff pastry sheets if frozen. Cut each sheet into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Wrap each sausage with a strip of puff pastry, sealing the edges with a little water or beaten egg.
- Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or seasoning if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- You can substitute regular sausages with mini hot dogs for easier serving.
- Serve with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauces.
