- 2 cups sushi rice
- 4 oz imitation crab or cooked seafood
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Wasabi and pickled ginger for serving
Instructions
- Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool slightly.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil to create spicy sauce.
- Layer cooked rice in a baking dish, then top with seafood and half of the spicy sauce.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Garnish with sliced avocado, green onions, sesame seeds, and serve with wasabi and pickled ginger.
Notes
- You can substitute seafood with cooked chicken or keep it vegetarian with tofu.
- Adjust spice level by varying sriracha quantity.
- For added flavor, sprinkle with roasted nori flakes.
