  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti noodles
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream
  • 2 cups cooked chicken or Italian sausage (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant and translucent. Stir in cooked chicken or sausage if using, and cook until heated through.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Add softened cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Slowly pour in milk or heavy cream, stirring continuously to create a velvety, rich sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Mix in shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with additional cheese if desired. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • You can add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
  • For a quicker protein option, use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken.
  • Sprinkle crispy bacon bits on top before baking for added crunch.
