- 1 prepared pizza dough
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 lemon, sliced thin
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer to a baking sheet.
- Mix olive oil and minced garlic, then spread evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the dough.
- Arrange lemon slices on top of the cheese.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, then sprinkle with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle with additional olive oil if desired, serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add a touch of chili flakes for extra spice.
- Use organic lemons for the best flavor.
